Commercial Heating II Certificate

The Commercial Heating Certificate II is designed to provide students advanced training in electrical troubleshooting, utilizing diagnostic test equipment, and installing and maintaining direct digital controls to operate building automation systems. Training also includes the installation and service of commercial boilers and utilizing of various types of building insulation materials and data obtained from air diagnostic test equipment to develop a procedure to correct problems to increase energy efficiency.

Commercial Heating II Certificate, Sample Semester Pathway

Commercial Heating II Certificate Requirements:
Program Core: 16 Credit Hours
Total Certificate Credits: 16
Other Certificate Graduation Requirements:
- 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA at MCC upon completion of program
- For certificates of less than 12 credit hours, all required credits must be completed through MCC coursework. For all other certificates, one-half of the minimum credit hours required must be completed through MCC coursework.
- Completion of graduation application
