AET 123 - AEC Project Delivery

3 Credits

AEC Project Delivery introduces students to the various construction project delivery processes used within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, including Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Design-Build (DB), Owner-Build (OB), and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and project delivery phases, including Project Conception, Design Process, Construction Documents, Procurement, Preconstruction, Construction, and Life Cycle Activities. Students learn to coordinate and apply construction documents to the project delivery process. Residential and commercial projects are covered.

Note: This course requires basic construction document reading, Windows operating system, and file management skills. This course requires intermediate reading and writing, and basic math skill.

Prerequisite: AET 121  with a grade of C or higher or concurrent enrollment in AET 121 .
